The Holsteiner lineage 730b stands out as a notable source of highly qualitative horses, showcasing a remarkable number of accomplished equines.Today, the lineage includes over 60 licensed stallions and numerous showjumping and dressage horses. The foundation mare Liesch was born in 1866 and sired by Champion. She was owned by Peter Scharmer, Gehlensiel. Liesch had two daughters, Konradine and Hochmütige, who formed the basis of the current lineage. Among the notable mares of the lineage is Deka, sired by Consul out of Ökonomie by Matador. She played a key role in the Holsteiner breeding program. Deka is dam to the stallions Caletto I to III, Lysander, and Gonzales.

 

Some of the highly successful showjumping horses from lineage 730b include Lacrimoso 3 HDC (P. Delaveau, FRA), Marius (winner of 2 gold medals in Hong Kong 2008 with H. Romeike, GER), Ingaletta ( Ramiro Quintana, ARG), Cascano ( B. Mohammed, QAT), Constant II (G. Luckett, GBR), Chancero (H. Mader, GER), Shell (U. Kirchhoff, UKR), Contador (M. Dinesen Neergaard, DEN), Now Or Never (M. Marmont, ITA), Newcomer (R. Lindegren Roed, DEN), Cord (K. Babington, IRL), Calmar (B. Meredith, AUS), and Scuderia 1918 Quick And Easy (G. Martinengo Marquet, ITA).

 

Among the licensed stallions from the lineage are Cassilano, Caletto I, Caletto II, Caletto III, Gonzales, Lysander, Bartlgut's Calaccio, Lorenzo I, Raimondo, Lambadero, Asterix Bavaria, Calmar, Couleur Royal, Zornell I and II, Asca Z, Croesus, Nektos, Companiero, Carpaccio, Lasko, Coronado, Sandro, Centurion Montfort, Böckmann's Lazio, Merlin, Montanus, Loran, Le Grand I, Le Grand II, and Le Grand III.
