The Holsteiner mare line 18A2 is one of the most significant mare lines in Holsteiner horse breeding and is considered one of the most reliable lines in Holsteiner breeding. This line represents exceptional quality and top genetics. The foundation mare of this line is Brame, born in 1880 sired by Hannibal. This line has produced over 100 licensed stallions, including well-known sires such as Campino, Cascadeur, Catwalk IV, Centauer Z, Chambertin, Chamonix, Columbus, Leonardo I and II, Littlefield, Marmor, Monsum, and Untouchable.

One of the most successful offspring from this line is the licensed stallion Catwalk IV by Colman, who achieved international victories and placings in 5* show jumping under British rider Robert Whitaker (GBR).
